1. When can I start the course and how far in advance do I have to prepare the documentation?                                                                                                          

  Start date depends on the programme chosen .A-levels, Foundation, Pre-Master and Pre-MBA programmes usually begin in September, January and April. Its recommended to start preparing the documentation at least three months in advance of the proposed start date.

  The language courses and summer schools provide a rolling admission, so you can begin the course any time throughout the year. Preparing the documentaton begins at least 3 weeks in advance of the proposed start date.

2. What are the requirements to study abroad?   

 If you wish to study in Europe, You should meet several requirements:
  1. financial resources enough to cover tuition and living expenses;
  2. necessary language skills depending on the requirements of the specific programmes, namely:
GSCE 4.5 ; Foundation 5.0 ;  Pre-MBA/MQP 5.0;  A Levels 5.5;  Business Degree Level 1 5.5-  International Baccalaureate (IB) 5.5,  Diploma Foundation 6.0-6.5;  Undergraduate Degrees 6.5 ; Postgraduate Degrees 7.0.

3.How much does it cost to study and live abroad?   

  Costs usually differ by the chosen location: The most expensive city in the UK is London, living expenses are lower in Cambridge, Oxford, Scotland. South and Central England have even more acceptable prices and the most affordable regions are North England and Wales.

  The exact amount can be defined only according to the personal study plan and is calculated by summing tuition and accommodation fees, travel expenses, plus other additional costs such as insurance or airport transfers (for approximate fees see below).

Tuition fees (only tuition) for academic courses:

- GCSE 7,500 - 12,000 GBP per year
- A-level 7,600 - 15,000 GBP per year
- Foundation 6,400 - 12,000 GBP per year
- Pre-Masters 3,500 - 4,500 GBP per term

- accommodation fees differs depending your choice of homestay or residential accommodation and ranges from 3,500 to 5,000 GDP per year( Two meals a day are included)

Language courses 
  Tuition 180 – 250 GBP per week,
  Accommodation 90- 100 GBP per week.
  Cultural Activities, Excursions ( for summer courses) - 50-70 GBP per week

4.How much does the ELL service costs? 

   The general consultation is free, but the application process begins after signing the official agreement. Prices of our service differ depending the duration and level of the course you choose.

5. What if I don’t know language but wish to study abroad?

   Minimum knowledge of English (corresponding to A-2 Level-pre-intermediate) is compulsory for those wishing to study in the UK.In other European countries there are opportunities for beginners.

6. Can you find the job for me abroad?        

   ELL offers only educational programmes and we don’t provide any support in finding the job abroad.

7. One of my friends went abroad and found very high-evaluated job immediately. I want too.    

   Don’t believe to your friend. He may be exaggerating. The ability to find a good job doesn’t depend on the location.

8. Is it possible to work during the study period?   

   For students of longer academic programmes (Masters programmes) there are opportunities of part-time jobs as these programmes usually give right to work (no more that 10 hours per week). Short programmes usually don’t give such opportunities.

9. Can I retry to get a visa for studying abroad after the denial form the same embassy? 

   It depends on many factors- the date and the reason of the denial, your purpose for a new visa etc.

10. Are there any age restrictions for study abroad programmes?    

    As a rule, it depends on the specific programme. For example, summer language courses may be designed for distinct age group(13-21 years) or for interested people without any age restrictions. In this case any person, even 50 years old, can take part in the programme if she/he meets the programme requirements. 

11. Are there any opportunities of financial aid or scholarships? 

    If you don’t have enough financial resources to study abroad you can consider one of the following :

- You can try to win a scholarship, but in this case you will have to prove your outstanding academic abilities and that you are the best among Georgian participants.
- You can get a long term student loan to finance your studies abroad( for Masters programmes)
- If you wish to progress onto a Masters degree you can try to obtain an offer from one of the universities listed on DRF website and apply for their scholarship.

12. What if I’m not a Georgian citizen but working or studying here? Can I use ELL service and get a visa of another country in Tbilisi?

  If you ‘re officially studying or working in here, even if you are not a citizen of Georgia, its possible to do a any offered course abroad without any problems. Please contact ELL for further information.

13. How can I enroll on the English language course in Tbilisi?

   You should first come to our language centre, then you will be tested and our high-qualified and friendly teachers will select the appropriate group for you(according the level of knowledge).You can also choose one-to-one preparation for international language examinations such as IELTS, TOEFL etc.

14. When can I sit for international language examinations?

  Cambridge ESOL examinations are administered in March, June and December.
  IELTS exam is held every month.
